In lieu of the fest’s return to Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak Florida February 14 through 16, 2014, we chatted with a few of the extravaganza’s finest followers. Check out what some of the fans had to say…

“Every year I look forward to the time where all of my most favorite people, music and art can come together and celebrate one another. Every year I find myself in awe over the sheer passion that went in to putting this festival together. Every year the bands that come back, come back more refined and groundbreaking than the year prior. Keeping me constantly excited for what is to come. And knowing that I will be experiencing all this with those nearest and dearest to my heart is simply wonderful.” – Musician, Emily Carroll

“My boyfriend, Tom, and I are so stoked for AURA this year! We were on the volunteer medic team last year, but this year we’re back vending our art. We’re so drawn to the atmosphere of the festival and the overall good-nature of everyone that attends. It’s so nice to get away from the every day ‘rat race’ and just spend a few days in the wood with some groovy people.” Volunteer/Artist, Chelsea Leigh

“I’ll be attending my first AURA this year. I’ve been inspired by the AURA stories veterans have shared. And the lineup of course, which is great! I can’t wait to find out what color my Aura is…” – First-timer, Lo Smith

“I would say that I am excited to be with friends and a loving community of people for a weekend of amazing music. And to me, Aura festival is a my favorite place to share a weekend with close friends making lifelong memories.” – Returning Attendee, Chase Kaschal

What we’re looking forward to…
Along with friends, family, nature and great music, this year AURA will be introducing some new aspects, activities and workshops. One of the biggest additions this year will be the unveiling of the brand new “Lotus Lounge,” designed by Eagle Nest Outfitters. The lounge will be focused on bringing relaxation and bliss to attendees through encapsulating the comfort of being inside a hammock. The center of the Lounge will also feature a fully professional lighting and sound set up as well as an innovative DJ booth.

Other new features include the professional yoga workshops occurring throughout the weekend, the Disc Golf Tournament, and the stand-up comedy performances from Damien Figler, Carlos Valencia and Nico Prada, occurring in the BLP Vibe Tent. With all of the new activities as well as classic AURA feel from years past, it’s no wonder festie heads from around the country are flocking to the woods for AURA 5. So, grab a bundle of wood, and meet us by the campfire. Your first s’more is on us!
